+## Before you begin
+
+To run this sample, you need the following prerequisites.
+
+**Software prerequisites:**

+1. WideWorldImporters and WideWorldImportersDW sample databases running in SQL Server 2016 (or higher) or Azure SQL Database. Download page: [wide-world-importers-release](http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=800630)
+1. Power BI Desktop. Download link: [https://powerbi.microsoft.com/downloads/](https://powerbi.microsoft.com/downloads/)

+## Run this sample
+
+1. Open the dashboard in Power BI Desktop.
+2. Click the drop-down under **Edit Queries** and select **Data Source Settings**. A dialog box will open showing the data source configured in the dashboard.
+3. Click **Change Source** and edit the **Server** to point to the SQL Server instance that hosts the WideWorldImporters and WideWorldImportersDW databases.
+4. Click **OK** to save the changes, and click **Refresh** to update the data in the dashboard.
